I am a population geneticist who leverages publicly available data to study meiotic recombination rate variation and it's impacts on evolution.

In Fall 2025, I defended my PhD in Biology from the Institute of Ecology and Evolution at the University of Oregon. I studied recombination rate variation through population-level genetic variation in crow species in the Singh lab.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of New Mexico with a BA in Evolutionary Anthropology in 2019, where I focused on Population Genetics in the Long lab. I was a Post-Bacc in the Witt lab at the Museum of Southwestern Biology at UNM.
